About the only Jeep I'd be tempted to buy!

This, dear reader is a Jeep. In fact it's called the Mighty FC Concept and is based on the Forward Control Jeeps of the 50's and 60's.

While it's certainly not a thing of beauty, it looks pretty effective for off road work. With Mopar portal axles, a Warn winch, minimal approach and departure angles, room for tools and equipment in the pick up body, and about the length of a Land Rover 110 Defender I'd love to see one in the flesh….and especially if it had a nice big Yank V8 and a simple auto gearbox. Price hasn't been disclosed but my guess is it won't be cheap anywhere other than in the US!

Now this is what you call sex on wheels….

Whilst this might look vaguely like the legendary, 1950's Mercedes 300SL Gullwing, it's not. It's better than that. And not from Mercedes either.

Check out http://www.gullwing-america.com/ and have a drool at their Panamerica 300 SL. Inspired by the mythical original this is a retro re-make using modern engineering, modern components and up to date equipment. You can choose between a 5.5 litre Mercedes V8 pumping out 408 bhp, or a smaller 3.5 litre V6 with 320 bhp. The V8 gets an automatic 7Gtronic gearbox, so pretty effective, and the V6 gets a 6 speed manual.

Created mainly from current Mercedes components, including rear axle, suspension and braking, GullWing America (GWA) from San Antonio, Texas say you can get the car serviced at any MB dealer anywhere in the world. The only detail I couldn't find out was the price. But as they say, if you need to ask, it's more than you can afford.

At last, the Diesel X Ducati Monster

This is starting to get embarrassing! All these posts about seriously drool-worthy trick bikes is starting to make me look like a true bike-geek!

Anyway, this new Ducati Monster isn't actually a diesel motorbike! It's a further collaboration between Diesel - the clothing brand, and Ducati. They started a partnership last year with Diesel sponsoring the Ducati Team in MotoGP. Now this!

This customised model is intended to be an 'urban military chic' interpretation of Ducati's iconic naked motorcycle and will be unveiled alongside the new collection at the Diesel stores of New York - Soho, (15 March) Rome, (22 March) and Tokyo-Shibuya, (29 March).

With Ducati's flagship Monster 1100EVO the basis for this new, military inspired, motorcycle creation, the Monster Diesel will be available at Ducati stores around the world from late July onwards.

Hard to choose….

After the last post regarding that stunning Honda, you might think I'm obsessed by retro-street-scrambler-bikes. And yes, every springtime, I am. So here's two more….

Is it the BMW R100RT from Wrenchmonkees in Copenhagen (http://wrenchmonkees.com/) or the simply beautiful S6 Triumph 904 dirt Twin from Spirit of the Seveties (http://spiritoftheseventies.com/) in the leafy south east of England?

I guess both are not exactly cheap given they're custom built, but hey, my hearts still says yes, yes, yes, when I see such beauty!

That the French are stylish goes without saying, but this is cool to the max.

Rive Gauche Kustoms (https://www.facebook.com/rivegauchekustoms) are the makers of this insanely good looking Honda CX 500 Street Tracker. I love the Continental Twinduro tyres and the "Old English White" painted details.

Serious drool factor!
